Hay & Kilner, a Facelift to an Existing CMS Driven Website

A Couple of years ago Hay & Kilner approached Guerilla to create a CMS driven website that would allow the in house marketing department to manage the companies web presence. The site was designed and built on to of the GIEdit CMS platform produced an managed in house at Guerilla. To Move along with a corporate branding refresh Hay & Kilner required a template update to bring the existing system in lie with the new brand.

Hay & Kilner required a complete rework of the existing templates

The original site employed blog like news articles shown alongside dates and author to allow people to track articles within a given field. This was supported by information based pages and full text search. With lead generation being high on the priority list most actions within the site funnel users to the contact pages and on-line contact form. The original website was further publicized using a number of e-newsletters which, carrying through the brand, highlighted the legal issues being picked up on in the news articles on the website itself.

The new templates make use of the existing client testimonials an introduce a selection of new photography from Hay & Kilners internal marketing team.Along with the re-brand the templates include a package of performance upgrades developed at Guerilla for a fully functioning, quick website.

All templates are fully XHTML compliant and comply with W3C guidelines throughout.

The project was completed on behalf of Guerilla early in 2010 and has been successfully running since launch. The visual designs provided exceptionally as ever by Rob Palmer from Branded07.
